Driving directions from Reno-Tahoe International Airport: Exit the airport on Plumb Ln. Turn left onto US-395S / Carson City, and drive south for about 31 miles to US-50. Turn right onto US-50, and drive west for about 26 miles. Pass the casinos, cross the CA state line, and continue on US-50 for about four more miles. Turn right onto Tahoe Keys Blvd and proceed about one mile to check-in office at corner of Tahoe Keys Blvd and Venice Dr. Rental cars are the most popular way of getting from the airport to the hotel. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous with chain laws often in effect. An airport shuttle service operates buses that run between the airport and Stateline, NV, and one-way fares are from $16–$25. Fee subject to change without notice. From the shuttle’s terminus in Stateline, guests can catch a taxi to the resort. Limos are also available from the airport to South Lake Tahoe, and one-way fares are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice. Getting around: Renting a car is the most popular and convenient way of getting around. For under $5 per person, BlueGo, the public transit bus system, stops nearby on US-50 and offers both regular bus routes and on-call, point-to-point shuttle service. Fee subject to change without notice. Arrangements for a BlueGo shuttle pick-up should be made several hours or even a day in advance. Taxis are available at any hour. Also, the nearby ski areas of Heavenly and Sierra Tahoe offer complimentary skier shuttles that stop on US-50 near the resort. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers numerous bike paths.

A total of 69 one, two, and three bedroom units offer a variety of styles, layouts, and decor. Lake, forest, mountain, or residential views are available depending on location within the Tahoe Keys community. Units range in size from roughly 400 square feet to 4,000 square feet. All have balconies or decks, well-equipped kitchens, fireplaces, cable TV, VCRs, and phones with complimentary local calls. Most have shared spa tubs; some feature private tubs. A small number of the condos allow pets. Some have boat docks.

The resort boasts a large indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool and spa tub, a complete fitness center, seven tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, a putting green, a children’s playground, a private beach, and a park. Power boats and jet skis can be rented at the marina. Sailboats, kayaks, and pedal boats also can be rented. During ski season, the area boasts 182 ski trails and a variety of cross-country trails. Lifts are 4 miles from the resort. Public golf courses are not far from the resort. Golf at the Bijou is 3.75 miles away and the Lake Tahoe Golf Course is 4.5 miles from the resort.
