Airport shuttles and rental cars are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. Tahoe Casino Express operates buses that run from the airport to an adjacent property, and one-way fares are from $16–$25. Fee subject to change without notice. From the shuttle’s terminus, guests can either walk to the resort or hire a taxi. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous with chain laws often in effect, making the shuttles a popular option. Taxis and limos are also available from the airport to South Lake Tahoe, and one-way fares for each are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice.
Getting around: Many attractions are within several blocks of the hotel, so walking is a popular and convenient way of getting around year round. A BlueGo bus stop is located at the resort. For under $5 per person, BlueGo offers both regular bus routes and on-call, point-to-point shuttle service. Fee subject to change without notice. Arrangements for a BlueGo shuttle pick-up should be made several hours or even a day in advance. Hotel staff can call to arrange a BlueGo or taxi pick-up. Taxis are available at any hour. Also, the nearby ski area of Sierra Tahoe offers a complimentary skier shuttle that picks up in front of the hotel. Alternative transportation makes rental cars necessary only for travel to other areas around Lake Tahoe. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers numerous bike paths.
