Driving directions from Reno-Tahoe International Airport: Exit the airport on Plumb Ln. Turn left onto US-395S / Carson City, and drive south for about 31 miles to US-50. Turn right onto US-50, and drive west for about 21 miles to Stateline, NV. Pass the casinos, cross the CA state line, and continue on US-50 for about two more miles to resort on left just past Johnson Ln.
Rental cars and airport shuttles are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. Tahoe Casino Express operates buses that run between the airport and Stateline, NV (two miles from the resort), and one-way fares are from $16–$25. Fee subject to change without notice. From the shuttle’s terminus in Stateline, guests can catch a BlueGo bus to the resort or hire a taxi. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous with chain laws often in effect, making the shuttles a popular option. Taxis and limos are also available from the airport to South Lake Tahoe, and one-way fares for both are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice.
Getting around: The beach is across the street from the hotel, and guests often walk there and to nearby restaurants. Adjacent to the hotel is a BlueGo bus stop. For under $5 per person, BlueGo offers both regular bus routes and on-call, point-to-point shuttle service. Fee subject to change without notice. Arrangements for a BlueGo shuttle pick-up should be made several hours or even a day in advance. Taxis are available at any hour. Also, the nearby ski areas of Heavenly and Sierra Tahoe offer complimentary skier shuttles that pick up at the adjacent BlueGo stop. Alternative transportation makes renting a car necessary only for travel to other areas around Lake Tahoe. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers numerous bike paths. The hotel offers complimentary bikes to guests.
