Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO): Approximate driving time is 1 hour 15 minutes and distance is 54 miles.

Driving directions from Reno-Tahoe International Airport: Exit the airport on Plumb Ln. Turn left onto US-395S / Carson City, and drive south for about 31 miles to US-50. Turn right onto US-50, and drive west for about 21 miles to Stateline, NV. Pass the casinos, cross the CA state line, and then turn left onto Park Ave. Turn left onto Lake Pkwy, and resort driveway is second entrance on left.

Airport shuttles and rental cars are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. Tahoe Casino Express operates buses that run between the airport and Stateline, NV (100 yards from the resort), and one-way fares are from $16–$25. Fee subject to change without notice. From the shuttle’s terminus in Stateline, guests can either walk, hire a taxi, or catch a BlueGo bus to the resort. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous, with chain laws often in effect, making the shuttles a popular option. Limos and taxis are also available from the airport to South Lake Tahoe, and one-way fares for each are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice.

Getting around: Many attractions are within a mile of the resort, so walking is a popular and convenient way of getting around. For under $5 per person, BlueGo offers both regular bus routes and on-call, point-to-point shuttle service. Fee subject to change without notice. Arrangements for a BlueGo shuttle pick-up should be made several hours or even a day in advance. Hotel staff can call to arrange a BlueGo or taxi pick-up. Taxis are available at any hour. Also, the nearby ski area of Sierra Tahoe offers a complimentary skier shuttle that makes a once-daily roundtrip from the resort. Alternative transportation makes rental cars necessary only for travel to other areas around Lake Tahoe. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers numerous bike paths.
